U prelijepom ambijentu Crkve Sv. Eustahija u Dobroti, publika Međunarodnog festivala KotorArt imaće priliku da 15. jula prisustvuje koncertu Glasovi srca, na kojem će nastupiti jedan od najuglednijih horova regiona – Akademski hor Ivan Goran Kovačić, pod dirigentskom palicom Ivana Šćepanovića. Koncert je dio programa 25. jubilarnog izdanja Međunarodnog festivala KotorArt, koji ove godine obilježava četvrt vijeka umjetničke izvrsnosti.

Akademski hor Ivan Goran Kovačić, osnovan 1948. godine, jedan je od najznačajnijih horskih ansambala u regionu. Poznat po izuzetnom izvođačkom kvalitetu i bogatom repertoaru koji obuhvata djela od renesanse do savremenog stvaralaštva, hor danas predvodi umjetnički direktor Ivan Šćepanović. Tokom svoje bogate istorije nastupao je sa najuglednijim orkestrima i dirigentima svijeta, potvrđujući status jednog od vodećih horskih ansambala jugoistočne Evrope.

Na programu će se naći kompozicije Jakova Gotovca, Feliksa Mendelsona-Bartoldija, Ivana Brkanovića, Edvarda Griga, Đoakina Rosinija, Johanesa Bramsa, Krsta Odaka i Georga Fridriha Hendla. Raznovrstan repertoar, koji kulminira čuvenim Hendlovim Hallelujah iz oratorijuma Mesija, donijeće veče ispunjeno snažnim emocijama, duhovnošću i ljepotom horskog zvuka.

Međunarodni festival KotorArt ističe se po umjetničkom kvalitetu i jedinstvenim koncepcijama svojih programa, a proglašen je festivalom od posebnog značaja za kulturu Crne Gore od strane Vlade Crne Gore. In the beautiful setting of the Church of St. Eustachius in Dobrota, audiences of the KotorArt International Festival will have the opportunity to attend Voices of the Heart on 15 July, featuring one of the region's most distinguished choral ensembles – the Ivan Goran Kovačić Academic Choir, under the baton of Ivan Šćepanović. The concert is part of the programme of the 25th anniversary edition of the KotorArt International Festival, celebrating a quarter century of artistic excellence.

Founded in 1948, the Ivan Goran Kovačić Academic Choir is one of the leading choral ensembles in the region. Renowned for its exceptional artistic quality and a repertoire spanning works from the Renaissance to contemporary music, the Choir is today led by its Artistic Director, Ivan Šćepanović. Throughout its rich history, it has performed alongside some of the world's finest orchestras and conductors, confirming its reputation as one of Southeast Europe's foremost choral ensembles.

The programme includes works by Jakov Gotovac, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Ivan Brkanović, Edvard Grieg, Gioachino Rossini, Johannes Brahms, Krsto Odak and George Frideric Handel. Culminating with Handel's celebrated Hallelujah from the oratorio Messiah, the concert promises an evening filled with profound emotion, spirituality and the magnificent sound of one of the region's finest choirs.
