Publika Međunarodnog festivala KotorArt imaće priliku da 27. jula u Crkvi Svetog Duha, doživi muzičko putovanje kroz najljepše stranice klavirske literature u izvođenju Alekseja Volodina, vrhunskog pijaniste jedinstvenog senzibiliteta.Ovaj koncert dio je programa 25. jubilarnog izdanja Međunarodnog festivala KotorArt, koji ove godine slavi četvrt vijeka postojanja.

Aleksej Volodin je umjetnik koji spaja vrhunsku virtuoznost sa dubokim, gotovo filozofskim shvatanjem muzike. Njegov stil je autentičan i prepoznatljiv, oslobođen svakog suvišnog efekta, dok njegove tehničke vještine krasi preciznost i suptilnost, bez obzira na epohu ili žanr djela koje izvodi.

Studije je završio na Moskovskom konzervatorijumu, a njegova karijera dobija snažan zalet 2003. godine nakon trijumfa na prestižnom takmičenju „Geza Anda“ u Cirihu. Od tada pa do danas, sarađivao je sa vodećim svjetskim dirigentima i orkestrama poput Njujorške i Londonske filharmonije i nastupao u najznačajnijim koncertnim dvoranama u Amsterdamu, Beču, Parizu, Milanu i Tokiju. Kao ekskluzivni umjetnik kompanije Steinway & Sons, Aleksej Volodin je čest gost elitnih festivala, uključujući Verbie, Lucern i festivale u Ruru i Baden-Badenu.

Posebnu težinu ovom recitalu daje činjenica da je riječ o programu koji predstavlja okosnicu aktuelne svjetske turneje Alekseja Volodina, te će kotorska publika imati rijetku priliku da čuje isto ono vrhunsko izvođenje koje ove sezone osvaja najveće muzičke centre, od Kine do Švajcarske. Poznat po tome što pažljivo koncipira svoje nastupe, Aleksej Volodin kroz repertoar posvećen simbolima romantizma, unutrašnjem nemiru i potrazi za domom – od Šubertovih
traganja i Betovenovog oproštaja, do Grigove nostalgije i Listovih produhovljenih vizija – pretvara zvuke u korake ka onom najvažnijem odredištu, unutrašnjem miru.

The audience of the International KotorArt Festival will have the opportunity on July 27, at the Church of the Holy Spirit, to experience a musical journey through some of the most beautiful pages of piano literature, performed by Alexei Volodin, a distinguished pianist of unique sensibility. This concert is part of the program of the 25th anniversary edition of the International KotorArt Festival, which this year celebrates a quarter century of its existence.

Alexei Volodin is an artist who combines outstanding virtuosity with a deep, almost philosophical understanding of music. His style is authentic and recognizable, free of any unnecessary effect, while his technical mastery is marked by precision and subtlety, regardless of the era or genre of the works he performs.

He completed his studies at the Moscow Conservatory, and his career gained significant momentum in 2003 following his triumph at the prestigious Géza Anda Competition in Zurich.

Since then, he has collaborated with leading conductors and orchestras worldwide, including the New York Philharmonic and the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and has performed in major concert halls in Amsterdam, Vienna, Paris, Milan, and Tokyo. As an exclusive artist of Steinway & Sons, Alexei Volodin is a frequent guest at elite festivals, including Verbier, Lucerne, and festivals in the Ruhr and Baden-Baden.

This recital carries particular significance as it presents the core program of Alexei Volodin’s current international tour, offering the Kotor audience a rare opportunity to hear the same outstanding performance that is captivating major music centers this season, from China to Switzerland. Known for carefully crafting his performances, Volodin, through a repertoire dedicated to the symbols of Romanticism, inner unrest, and the search for home – from Schubert’s quests and Beethoven’s farewell, to Grieg’s nostalgia and Liszt’s spiritual visions –
transforms sound into steps toward the most essential destination: inner peace.

The International KotorArt Festival stands out for its artistic excellence and unique program concepts and has been proclaimed a festival of special importance for the culture of Montenegro by the Government of Montenegro.
