DUO TRUSOV

U okviru ovogodišnjeg festivala KotorArt, u intimnoj atmosferi Crkve Svetog Duha, 16. jula nastupiće jedan od najcjenjenijih porodičnih sastava današnjice – Duo Trusov.

Ovaj duo čine Kiril Trusov (violina) i Aleksandra Trusova (klavir), brat i sestra koji muziku dijele još od najranijeg djetinjstva. Ono što je prije više od tri decenije započelo kao dječja igra u porodičnom domu, vremenom je preraslo u međunarodnu koncertnu karijeru: nastupali su širom svijeta, u najuglednijim dvoranama poput Berlinske filharmonije i Teatra na Jelisejskim poljima u Parizu, i sarađivali sa vodećim svjetskim orkestrima i dirigentima.

Njihove impresivne karijere upotpunjuje i pedagoška djelatnost – kroz mnoštvo održanih majstorskih kurseva i rad na
prestižnim muzičkim univerzitetima, kao i osnivanje sopstvenih akademija u Španiji (Madrid) i Njemačkoj (Engers), Kiril i Aleksandra prenose znanje i iskustvo novim generacijama, povezujući tradiciju ruske škole sa savremenim interpretativnim pristupima.

Posebnu draž ovom duu daje zvuk Kirilove violine. On svira instrument koji je nastao 1702. godine u graditeljskoj porodici Stradivari. Ova violina, poznata pod nazivom „Brodsky“, prava je svjetska atrakcija: upravo na njoj je prije 145 godina prvi put izveden čuveni Koncert za violinu Čajkovskog. Zato svaki potez gudala Kirila Trusova postaje svojevrsno putovanje kroz istoriju muzike!

„Na sceni se stapamo u jedno muzičko biće,“ objašnjava Aleksandra. „Istim otkucajem srca i dahom, svakog dana živimo muziku.“ Sposobnost da publiku provedu kroz paletu emocija, od najdublje tuge do neizmjerne radosti, čini njihove nastupe nezaboravnim iskustvom koje prevazilazi granice običnog koncerta.

Ovaj koncert dio je programa 25. jubilarnog izdanja Međunarodnog festivala KotorArt, koji ove godine slavi četvrt vijeka postojanja.

As part of this year’s KotorArt Festival, in the intimate setting of the Church of the Holy Spirit, one of today’s most acclaimed family ensembles – Duo Trusov – will perform on July 16.

The duo consists of Kirill Trusov (violin) and Alexandra Trusova (piano), brother and sister who have shared music since their earliest childhood. What began more than three decades ago as a children’s game in the family home has grown into an international concert career: they have performed around the world in some of the most prestigious venues, including the Berlin Philharmonie and the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, and have collaborated with leading orchestras and conductors. Their impressive careers are further enriched by their pedagogical work—through numerous masterclasses and positions at prestigious music universities, as well as through the founding of their own academies in Spain (Madrid) and Germany (Engers), Kirill and Alexandra pass on their knowledge and experience to new generations, bridging the tradition of the Russian school with contemporary interpretative approaches.

A special charm of this duo lies in the sound of Kirill’s violin. He performs on an instrument crafted in 1702 by the Stradivari family. This violin, known as the “Brodsky,” is a true world rarity: it was on this very instrument that Tchaikovsky’s famous Violin Concerto was premiered 145 years ago. Each stroke of Kirill Trusov’s bow thus becomes a journey through the history of music.

“On stage, we merge into a single musical being,” explains Alexandra. “With the same heartbeat and breath, we live music every day.” Their ability to guide the audience through a wide spectrum of emotions – from the deepest sorrow to boundless joy – makes their performances an unforgettable experience that transcends the boundaries of a traditional concert.

This concert is part of the program of the 25th anniversary edition of the International KotorArt Festival, which this year celebrates a quarter century of its existence.
