Opera La serva padrona Đovanija Batiste Pergolezija biće izvedena 23. jula u 21 sat u Auditorijumu Doma vojske u Porto Montenegru. Jedno od najpoznatijih djela operske literature, nastalo kao intermezzo, kroz priču o snalažljivoj služavki Serpini i njenom gospodaru Ubertu otvara i savremena pitanja odnosa moći, društvenih uloga i emotivne manipulacije.

U novoj režiji Paola Tišljarića, predstava donosi savremeno čitanje Pergolezijevog remek-djela, spajajući filmski realizam sa estetikom baroka. Vizuelno raskošna, a istovremeno psihološki precizna, inscenacija istražuje svijet u kojem ljubav, identitet i moć postaju svojevrsni performans, dok humor proizlazi iz ozbiljnosti kojom likovi pristupaju apsurdnim emotivnim situacijama.

Uloge tumače Petra Radulović (Serpina, sopran), Jakov Kalajžić (Uberto, bas) i Matija Grabić (Vespone), uz Kamerni ansambl Bokeljskog simfonijskog orkestra kojim diriguje Mladen Tarbuk.

Giovanni Battista Pergolesi's opera La serva padrona will be performed on 23 July at 9 PM at the Army Hall Auditorium in Porto Montenegro. One of the best-known works in the operatic repertoire, originally composed as an intermezzo, it tells the story of the resourceful maid Serpina and her master Uberto while raising timeless and surprisingly contemporary questions about power, social roles, and emotional manipulation.

In a new production directed by Paolo Tišljarić, Pergolesi's masterpiece is reimagined through a contemporary lens, blending cinematic realism with Baroque aesthetics. Visually opulent yet psychologically nuanced, the production explores a world in which love, identity, and power become a form of performance, while its humour emerges from the seriousness with which the characters approach absurd emotional situations.

The cast features Petra Radulović (Serpina, soprano), Jakov Kalajžić (Uberto, bass), and Matija Grabić (Vespone), accompanied by the Chamber Ensemble of the Bokelian Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Mladen Tarbuk.
