Presence is a one-hour live performance exploring the idea of being fully present — in space, in sound, and in silence.

Composer and pianist Vadim Mikhailov presents original music for piano, electronics, voice, and violin. The music unfolds gradually, combining calm, contemplative moments with more intense sonic episodes. The sound develops through subtle repetition and deep expressivity, inviting the audience into a state of attentive stillness.

The concert is structured in two parts:
1. A solo set for piano and electronics
2. An ensemble performance with guest vocalists and violin

This is not a traditional concert, but a focused listening experience.
Every sound, pause, and breath is part of the composition.

As part of AVE TRIO, the musicians recently released their debut album.
AVE is a trio that creates music at the intersection of academic tradition and contemporary electronic culture. The group’s sound blends the texture of classical instrumental music, subtle dramaturgy, and expressive vocal plasticity, interwoven with repetitive piano patterns, synthesis, and experimental rhythms.

Vadim Mikhailov is a composer and pianist working with acoustic and electronic sound in concerts, film, and installations. A classical piano background brings precision and subtlety to his compositions. His music sounds in art house films, documentary projects, and interdisciplinary performances. The work focuses on sound itself — its presence, detail, and interaction with space.
