Operosa Montenegro Opera Festival najavljuje jedinstveno muzičko veče u Herceg Novom!

U impresivnom ambijentu tvrđave Kanli Kula, 13. avgusta 2026. godine u 21 čas, publiku očekuje koncertna verzija projekta „Emily, no prisoner be“.

Nastupiće jedna od najznačajnijih umjetnica današnjice, višestruko nagrađivana Joyce DiDonato, mecosopran i dobitnica Grammy i Olivier nagrada, čiji glas kritika opisuje kao „čisto zlato“. Uz nju, publika će imati priliku da čuje i virtuozni ansambl Time for Three, dobitnike Grammy i Emmy nagrada, poznate po jedinstvenom spoju klasične muzike, americane i savremenog izraza.

Muziku na stihove čuvene pesnikinje Emili Dikinson specijalno za njih je komponovao Kevin Puts, višestruki dobitnik Pulitzer i Grammy nagrada.

Djelo „Emily, no prisoner be“ donosi snažan i emotivan muzički narativ koji briše granice između žanrova, spajajući kamernu muziku, savremeni izraz i opersku estetiku. Kroz ovaj ciklus kompozicija, intimnost Dickinsonine poezije pretvara se u bogat zvučni pejzaž koji istražuje teme ljubavi, slobode, smrti i unutrašnjeg oslobađanja.

Operosa Montenegro Opera Festival announces a unique musical evening in Herceg Novi!

Set within the impressive setting of the Kanli Kula Fortress, on August 13, 2026, at 9 PM, audiences will experience the concert version of the project Emily, No Prisoner Be.

The evening will feature one of today’s most celebrated artists, the internationally acclaimed mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato, winner of Grammy and Olivier Awards, whose voice critics describe as “pure gold.” Joining her on stage will be the virtuoso ensemble Time for Three, recipients of Grammy and Emmy Awards, renowned for their distinctive blend of classical music, Americana, and contemporary expression. The music, inspired by the poetry of the legendary poet Emily Dickinson, was specially composed for them by Kevin Puts, a multiple Pulitzer and Grammy Award winner.

"Emily, No Prisoner Be" offers a powerful and deeply emotional musical narrative that transcends genre boundaries, combining chamber music, contemporary expression, and operatic aesthetics. Through this cycle of compositions, the intimacy of Dickinson’s poetry is transformed into a rich sonic landscape exploring themes of love, freedom, death, and inner liberation.
